Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Lansing and Michigan, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Mixed Jury Duty Experience at Lansing 54A District Court The jury duty process felt rushed and disorganized. The call-in window to check reporting status was only 15 minutes, which made it difficult to planβespecially with construction and a one-hour commute. Parking and security were smooth, and the lobby was clean and modestly pleasant. The court representative gave a welcoming speech, but seemed surprised to learn that not everyone was from Lansing. After clarifying being from Okemos, the process was redirected to the administration office upstairs. Ultimately, jury duty was dismissed due to a clerical error, reportedly caused by budget cuts. Staff handled the situation professionally, but the experience highlighted the need for better screening and communication.

Can someone at this court house please help! Dunnings is illegally trying to remove my son from my care for exposing her! and sheβs mad that my case here is being dropped because she the one filled the report that they are dropping!

This is the slowest court in the entire county. They subpoena you for 9am and do not talk to you until well after they break for lunch. Clearly the American public is not their main concern. They only care about themselves and their own agendas.

Replace the federal female judge who does not take into consideration a person life and just remand them into jail without looking into a person's history that he has no priors just hears firearms and acts like it's the worst thing in the world when the person doesn't even have prior convictions or has even had a ticket of any sort. Pathetic federal system in lansing just pathetic. Do your research judge before u just blatantly remand someone and then doesn't want to hear anything from the person or the lawyer it's pathetic I don't understand it. Doesn't give a person a chance to speak just remand him and no consideration of his 3 little boys wanting to be with him for the 2 months he has left before sentencing. Attended court always on time with no issue's but that day she just wants to I guess start throwing people into jail with no explanation smh. Ruined justice system we have!.. #Fixthejusticesystem #Ladyjudgeinlansingpleasedobetter

Nearly every single individual whom I had the misfortune to have to involve myself with here was incredibly unprofessional and deserves to be fired if not prosecuted. * The officer of the court didn't even wear a uniform, just came to my door and started making incredibly accusatory statements and laid as much blame as he could attempt to put on me regarding my eviction from my home of four years which was pretty much entirely due to my moronic ex-landlord's consistently unthinkable actions. This man was rude to me the entire time I was going through this, and treated me like a criminal for having the landlord/court give me only TWO days' notice about this and me naturally being nearly unable to schedule movers before these monsters' agents came in to destroy my property, rather than waiting until the movers arrived AS SCHEDULED THE SAME DAY, which I repeatedly informed all these horrible people about. * Two of the female phone receptionists, possibly the same one, were also rude, unhelpful, and accusatory * Man at the desk was a fool who was cold and rude from the start for no apparent reason other than he apparently just hates everyone besides himself and probably including h
